Grandma tells me I wasn't quite 3 when I first met Chippy, pictured above. Chippy and her babies would come to me and crawl all over me! Below, was the year I turned four years old. Chippy was around for 8 summers. She lived longer than most ground squirrels. She came when my grandma whistled and she never bit anyone.
